The work of Innovative Hydrology has rapidly spanned over 6 continents since the start of the company in 2001. The past decade has been full of wonderful sights and experiences, which we are proud to show you. This Adventures page is designed as more of a leisure page dedicated to those memories and experiences through pictures and words. We hope you enjoy it.

wadi. Elevation here is about 3,000 ft. In the USA we talk about being above or below tree line. I never did find a tree line, even at sea level.

2009: Jordan

Another vista from Chitkul looking north towards Tibet. Chitkul is at about 11,000 ft. while the surrounding mountains rise towards 20,000 ft.

Raising the antenna mast with antenna already attached. One slip here and there will be no mountaintop repeater operating at this site. I was quite certain that the antenna would not survive being dropped. I was thinking Iwo Jima at about this time. Everyone helped, including the cooks, the army, and the park rangers.

I couldn't let this opportunity go by. Soon after this our ranger appeared carrying a stick, and this was enough to make the boys scatter back into the vegetation.

I have been organising the balloon launches, and training the group to provide launches 24x7 before, during, and just after winter storms. Here is the balloon launch contraption, and a few of my newly trained students ready to release the 'mother of all balloons'! A few look skeptical, but they were not disappointed.

In a place like this, you are on this beach all alone, I am not sure you even need to worry about a swim suit, so let's hop in anyway! This is the closest thing I have been to a deserted Island. The pictures show just a fraction of the beauty, the silence, and the warmth of the sun on my skin, and soon to be...water.
